Selling replica items
Question
I run a business & I would like to knw if it’s permissible for me to sell replicas..Eg to sell cloaks with the bedoonessam on them.. I don’t make them. I buy them frm sum1. Also is it permissible to sell replicas of t shirts etcJzk

As-salāmu ‘alaykum wa-rahmatullāhi wa-barakātuh.
Registered trademarks and brand names are regarded as legitimate rights in Shariah. It is not permissible to sell replicas of registered trademarks and brand names. That is a violation of the rights of the trademark and brand name company. If Bedoon Essam is a registered brand name and trademark, it is not permissible to sell cloaks with the Bedoon Essam brand name. That will also be a deception.[i
